The Dismantling of the American Culture

David Mamet has written an outstanding book, which should be the primer for life and a permanent reference document throughout the world for all parents!  It should be gifted to children by their parents at age 12 and be required family reading each night.   You cannot depend on your children hearing this in any public school or university as it exposes the lie of socialism and Marxism.  And of course socialism and Marxism only survive in public schools and universities as this is the only place that socialist and Marxist can exist without fear of exposure. 

I provide you a few select passages from the book, The Secret Knowledge: On the Dismantling of American Culture by David Mamet below.  While I believe these passages sum up the overall message of the book, you MUST purchase and read it cover to cover to fully understand why this book tells the story it does.

“Liberals see wealth as manna from heaven; which, being to them the case, means that for anyone to have more of anything than another, it must have been gotten by cheating-the processor of “more” must be a thief.  To the left, in-spite of 150 years of the most extensive and tragic disproval’s of Marxism, property = theft!  Rejecting both science and industry, the left is fearful of man’s ability to survive so it sees scarcity everywhere, and its one answer is to stop!

As my generation did not live through the depression, WWII, and the agony of the immigrants who are our parents and grandparents; as we were raised in the greatest plenty the world has ever known and the most just of societies, we have grown lazy and entitled. (Not unlike Marx who lived as a parasite on Engels, and never worked a day in his life.).  The baby boomer generation, my own, is content, if of the Left, to live out our remaining years upon the work and upon the entitlements created by our parents, and to entail the cost upon our children – to tax industry out of the country, to tax wealth away form its historical role and use as a funder of innovation.  The religion of the Left is to leave untilled that would whose operations it does not understand and, failing to investigate, fears. “
