Capitalism vs Socialism

9 comments:

  1. I don't see how socialism is equal to slavery, its quite the opposite. With capitalism, its always the Bourgeoisie exploits the Proletariat, with very little change for the Proletariat to be at the same class as the Bourgeoisie. It is a false liberty to those who are just simply unable, because the Bourgeoisie will not let it happen. It's all about the person's rationale towards others, not just to themselves, because of that capitalism is no different than communism, just in a mass, instead of 1. It is Inequality vs equality.

    1. Socialsim equals slavery because socialism enslaves people in a culture of dependence and entitlement, of victim-hood and anger instead of ability and hope.

Perhaps you can share with the readers where the money that pays for all the government programs comes from?

Socialism/Communism is not a sustainable system. These system only work until they confiscate all the money and industry and kill the free market. "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." – Sir Winston Churchill

    2. This is one of the stupidest things I've ever read. Have a nice day, and enjoy your government-run social programs (Police, Fire Department, USPS, ETC.).

    3. Have you had the chance to visit or study the socialist meccas of Cuba, Central America, and Latin America over the last 20 years? When you do let me know how that is working out for the Cubans and others. Also why do you believe there is stream of "immigrants" from those socialist havens rushing to get to what is left of our capitalist America.

  2. The money comes from taxes, levied over time. Society shares the burden. In Capitalism, the money comes from your pocket in full. If what you are describing is "Common" sense, then maybe we need uncommon sense.

    1. Congrats Bryant, you are the first person to try to answer the money questions. But I don't understand your answer. I get that society shares the burden, which is what happens now in capitalist America. There is money to share because there is a free market that sets the price, businesses sell goods and services for profit, pay their employees and their taxes. When all businesses are owned by the government, and all employees are government employees, (see Cuba and many Latin American countries), and all employees are government employees and all business perform like US Post Office, the VA, and other governmental agencies at a deficit (cost to produce are higher than the price consumers can pay) where will the money come
from then? Go to Cuba and other Latin American socialist countries and report back with facts and some Common Sense Thinking instead of emotion.

By the way I posted this in 2013, did you just wake up and find this at random or are you the "liberal of the week" assigned to demonstrate the liberal vast mis-understanding of Capitalism and the free market!
