Please send me your money! The only thing politicians are interested in from their subjects!

It is always hilariously frustrating when I get an email like this from (you name your own politician), but this one was from Paul Ryan:

Marcus,
I want to hear from you.

There’s a lot of work that needs to be done in Washington today. So as we shape our agenda for the year ahead, it’s important that you give your input.

We've created a quick one-question survey for you to share your feedback. As a valued member of our team, will you please take a moment to let us know what you want to see done in Washington today?

Our movement is shaped by you. Working together, I’m optimistic that we can get America back on track.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks,

Paul Ryan

So just cause it is fun to continue to witness Washington political hack stupidity (doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results), I clicked on the link.

And now you are going, "but Willie P, they didn't give you a spot to add your/our ideas about what should be done in Washington!", and you are correct.

What I would have said if they really cared was, "We simply want you to do the job you were elected to do, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States for all enemies, foreign and domestic (including the nut case politicians that somehow get elected to public office), and stop pandering for votes!"

But alas, they really don't want to know what we think, what they really want is our name and email address for their mailing list to raise money.  I say we let the idiots in Washington survive on their own, cut off the money supply to them, and they will disappear.  My view is they are all in it for the fame and fortune and use our money to create their fame and their fortunes.

But I could be wrong . . . !

Willie P
