    Two Americas The Democrats are right, there are two Americas . The America that works, and the America that doesn’t. The America that contributes, and the America that doesn’t. It’s not the haves and the have nots, it’s the dos and the don’ts. Some people do their duty as Americans, obey the law, support themselves, contribute to society, and others don’t.  That’s the divide in America .

     It’s not about income inequality, it’s about civic irresponsibility. It’s about a political party that preaches hatred, greed and victimization in order to win elective office. It’s about a political party that loves power more than it loves its country.  That’s not invective, that’s truth, and it’s about time someone said it. The politics of envy was on proud display a couple weeks ago when President Obama pledged the rest of his term to fighting “income inequality.”   He noted that some people make more than other people, that some people have higher incomes than others, and he says that’s not just. That is the rationale of thievery.  The other guy has it, you want it, Obama will take it for you.  Vote Democrat. 

     

    That is the philosophy that produced Detroit .   It is the electoral philosophy that is destroying America . It conceals a fundamental deviation from American values and common sense because it ends up not benefiting the people who support it, but a betrayal. The Democrats have not empowered their followers, they have enslaved them in a culture of dependence and entitlement, of victim-hood and anger instead of ability and hope.

    The president’s premise – that you reduce income inequality by debasing the successful – seeks to deny the successful the consequences of their choices and spare the unsuccessful the consequences of their choices. Because, by and large, income variations in society is a result of different choices leading to different consequences.   Those who choose wisely and responsibility have a far greater likelihood of success, while those who choose foolishly and irresponsibly have a far greater likelihood of failure.   Success and failure usually manifest themselves in personal and family income. You choose to drop out of high school or to skip college – and you are apt to have a different outcome than someone who gets a diploma and pushes on with purposeful education and/or employment. You have your children out of wedlock and life is apt to take one course;  you have them within a marriage and life is apt to take another course. Most often in life our destination is determined by the course we take.

    My doctor, for example, makes far more than I do.  There is significant income inequality between us.  Our lives have had an inequality of outcome, but, our lives also have had an in equality of effort.   While my doctor went to college and then devoted his young adulthood to medical school and residency, I got a job in a restaurant. He made a choice, I made a choice, and our choices led us to different outcomes.  His outcome pays a lot better than mine. Does that mean he cheated and Barack Obama needs to take away his wealth?  No, it means we are both free men in a free society where free choices lead to different outcomes. It is not inequality Barack Obama intends to take away, it is freedom.  The freedom to succeed, and the freedom to fail. There is no true option for success if there is no true option for failure. The pursuit of happiness means a whole lot less when you face the punitive hand of government if your pursuit brings you more happiness than the other guy. Even if the other guy sat on his arse and did nothing.  Even if the other guy made a lifetime’s worth of asinine and shortsighted decisions. Barack Obama and the Democrats preach equality of outcome as a right, while completely ignoring inequality of effort.

    The simple Law of the Harvest – as ye sow, so shall ye reap – is sometimes applied as, “The harder you work, the more you get."  Obama would turn that upside down. Those who achieve are to be punished as enemies of society and those who fail are to be rewarded as wards of society. Entitlement will replace effort as the key to upward mobility in American society if Barack Obama gets his way.   He seeks a lowest common denominator society in which the government besieges the successful and productive to foster equality through mediocrity. He and his party speak of two Americas , and their grip on power is based on using the votes of one to sap the productivity of the other.  

    America is not divided by the differences in our outcomes, it is divided by the differences in our efforts.   It is a false philosophy to say one man’s success comes about unavoidably as the result of another man’s victimization. What Obama offered was not a solution, but a separatism.  He fomented division and strife, pitted one set of Americans against another for his own political benefit.  That’s what socialists offer.  Marxist class warfare wrapped up with a bow. Two Americas , coming closer each day to proving the truth to Lincolns' maxim that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

Presidential Lies and their Consequences!

The relentless drum beats of the media were as relentless and strong as the waves beating the shores in Galveston. The year was 1974.  The subject was Richard Nixon.

Two years earlier that president had lied.  He tried to cover up his knowledge of a burglary in which no one was hurt physically and no property was damaged.

According to the democrats who controlled Congress in 1974, a President who lies to the public cannot stand.  Notwithstanding that the lying began two years earlier, Nixon went down with a resignation under an impeachment resolution. 

That was then.  This is now, 40 years later.  Now a president is expected to lie.

Remember President Bill Clinton?  Remember his statement on public TV emphasized with a bit of podium pounding, “I did not have sex with that woman.”?

When Monica Lewinsky’s semen stained dress proved that claim of innocence to be a lie, the press’ reaction was basically, “Well, boys will be boys,” and, after all, he is a democrat and the incident he is lying about happened sometime ago.

Today, there are again questions about lying in the White House. Now, however, any attempt to determine if President Obama and his administration covered up, i.e.,lied, about the cause of the death of four Americans in Benghazi. Libya, is denigrated by the press and democrats in Congress.  That story is almost two years old.

What’s the concern with that old news?  In the words of Hillary Clinton, “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?” (Emphasis added)

Well, it did make a difference. The difference was made in the Presidential election that was underway at the time of the attack and of the lying.  President Obama had recently announced how “he,” not the Navy Seals, had dared to take Osama bin Laden down and decimated al-Qaida.  The official line was that al-Qaida, without its head, was now on the run.

If the country were told that U.S. facilities and officials in Benghazi were under a well planned, coordinated attack with sophisticated weapons, some voters might think that al-Qaeda was alive and well. Why were special forces not dispatched to aid the Americans? How could that be, if the President had said it was not so?

So someone somewhere in the President’s inner circle came up with the line that the attacks were spontaneous uprisings over a U.S. made video critical of the Prophet Mohammed. Although no one knew how long the “spontaneous” riots might last, military forces were not dispatched to help the Americans because “there was not enough time.”

As usual, the party line is, “We do not know who in the Administration came up with this knowingly false misinformation.   That’s our story, and we are sticking to it.”

There was, however, a bombshell exploding last week.  A memo that was not released to a Congressional request for all material relating to Benghazi was released under a court order.  The memo indicates that the White House was aware within 48 hours that the attacks in Benghazi were not spontaneous uprisings.

Nonetheless, Susan Rice, the appointed spokesperson for the White House, was instructed to go on all the TV networks and perpetuate the lie that the slaughter in Benghazi was the result of that evil American made video.

As the facts of Benghazi continue to trickle out, a new question is raised.  As many responsible people within the Presidents chain of civilian and military forces knew the mayhem in Benghazi was a terrorist attack, where was the President and what was he doing at the time?  It was early morning.  Who was answering the phone in the White House?

This has finally jolted Speaker of the House Boehner to appoint a special committee to investigate the matter.

There is no surprise at the reaction of the press and democrats.  Hey, this is old news.  It happened two years ago.  In the words of Hillary, “What difference at this point does it make?”

Forty years ago, investigating a two year old burglary that did not result in damage, injury, or death made a difference as far as the democrats and press were concerned.  It resulted in the impeachment and resignation of a president who lied.

Presidential lies are nothing new.  In recent history, Eisenhower lied about Gary Powers and the U-2 flights over Russia.  LBJ lied about the Gulf of Tonkin attacks. Nixon lied about the Watergate burglary.  Clinton lied about Lewinsky.  Obama lied and is lying about Benghazi and the Affordable Care Act.

Of those, only Nixon paid a price for his coverup.  If the press and democrats have their way, Obama will escape Nixon’s fate, even though he covered up the decision to not even try to save the lives of four Americans.

So here’s the perspective.

Hillary Clinton wants to know what difference it makes now, almost two years after the attack?

The difference it makes may be answered in another utterance during her earlier bid for the Oval Office.  It may determine who answers the phone from the president’s bed at 3:00 a.m.

In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Luby's cafeteria in Killeen , TX. In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory. In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a church service. In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US. In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant. In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung - Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech. In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others. In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people. In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis. In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a school in Newtown, CT. As recently as Sept 2013, an angry Democrat named Aaron Alexis shot 12 at the Washington Navy Shipyard in Washington, D.C.  Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in any of these shootings and murders. SOLUTION: It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns.

Clinton, 34, made the announcement in the exact same way you would, in a speech she gave together with her mother at a Lower East Side event promoting the Clinton Foundation’s effort to empower girls. The baby is due sometime this fall.

Mommy’s mommy and Mommy’s daddy even pretend to still be married even though they’ve been living hundreds of miles apart for 14 years!

They will be accompanied by nice pretend journalists who are actually castle-outreach people named Katie or Oprah or Diane, whose job it is to make you and Grandma look good, so don’t cry so much, and only on cue! (Example: When Grandma Hillary says, “That ol’ John Boehner sure gets upset when he doesn’t get what he wants,” start wailing!)

There are a few special little things you need to know about. For instance, if you are a girl, mean people will mail you blue Gap dresses. You don’t need to worry about where they came from, because the castle’s shining knights will go after them. These knights work for a castle security program called the IRS. Those blue Gap dresses are a reference to something unfortunate that happened a long, long time ago that we all pretend didn’t happen and anyway was all the fault of barbarians and trolls living outside the castle. We call these twisted creatures Republicans.

In two years or so, when most babies are just learning to crawl, you will be hitting the road! Grandma Hillary is going to need you to smile and coo whenever there are Sunshine Men around. So play nice and don’t projectile vomit. Grandma is not what grown-ups call “maternal,” and was busy turning $1,000 into $100,000 in the magical cow trading market when your mommy was a baby, so she will have to make believe she is really “helping out” with you. No crying if she gets the diaper on the wrong end!

When you’re a teenager, you may start getting strange invitations from Grandpa Bill. Don’t be surprised if he asks you to invite all of your girl friends and their bikinis over to his house for a pool party. Grandpa Bill loves young people, especially young female people frolicking in the sunshine!

The best part of your make-believe Clinton-Mezvinsky life is that people will pretend you’re good at things and give you gifts like high-paying consultancy gigs when you just got out of college, jobs reporting for NBC News when you have as much camera-awareness as a smoked flounder, and the leadership of the free world because you “deserve it.” Learn to accept everything as your due, baby Clinton-Mezvinsky, and maybe Mommy and you will be the third and fourth Clintons to rule the kingdom!

I'll care when the British media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when something happens.  In the meantime, when I hear a story about a British soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take this to the bank:  I don't care. When I hear that a prisoner - who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and 'fed special food' that is paid for by my taxes - is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran..' Well, believe me!! you guessed it ............ I don't care!! 'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. Our soldiers don't have that problem.'

Congressional Stupidity!

Congressman: Members of Congress are underpaid

Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) said in an interview with Roll Call on Thursday that members of Congress are underpaid and can't afford to live "decently" in Washington.

“I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid,” Moran said. “I understand that it’s widely felt that they underperform, but the fact is that this is the board of directors for the largest economic entity in the world.”

Well Well Well Congressman Moran (D-Va.) I appreciate you drawing this analogy for us.  As a director, of this entity, under your tenure on the Board of Directors, lets look at the performance of the economic entity you believe you need to be paid more to serve.

1. It hasn't had a surplus (Profit) since before the turn of the century. 
2. Since your fellow Democrats took control of the Board of Directors in 2007 the entities losses (deficits) have grown from $400 billion a year to over several trillion dollars a year.
3. Since the new CEO (President) took over in January of 2009, elected by overwhelming support of the Democratically controlled Board of Directors (Congress) the combined debt of the entity has risen from $5 trillion (incurred by the first 43 CEO's and Directors) to over $17 trillion dollars.
4. The unfunded mandates for pensions for your entities union based employees exceeds $95 trillion dollars.  
5. The Board of Directors (the Senate and House) have refused to control your spending by passing and enforcing a budget as required by the Charter (Constitution).
6. The CEO, elected by the shareholders (citizens), based on the recommendation of the Board of Directors (you and your co-harts) has repeatedly, violated the Charter (Constitution), yet the Board of Directors (you and your co-harts) have refused to hold the CEO responsible for these breaches of trust.  

Now if you really were a Board of Director of a corporation that abused its shareholders as the Congress and the current President have done on your watch, you would he held responsible for your actions by the laws passed by Congress (OMG that is you).   Further you would have personal responsibility for the actions taken by the entity.

Now I know that for Democrats all history begins tomorrow, but you should recall that the last economic entity (company) that ran amuck with its shareholder's (taxpayers in your case) money was Enron.  The good news is the laws (the foundation of which is the Constitution) of this great country, made certain that the Board of Directors and officers were punished and many are now serving sentences in Federal prisons.

I appreciate your suggestion that American's look at you as a board of directors, it would be fitting to see you and the reset of your Board of Directors be treated like the Constitution says you should be treated by holding you personally responsible for your actions and being forced to live by the laws that you and your cohorts demand private industry be held to.

The six contradictions of socialism in the United States of America:

   1.  America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2.  Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

4.  Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5.  The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

So just cause it is fun to continue to witness Washington political hack stupidity (doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results), I clicked on the link.

And now you are going, "but Willie P, they didn't give you a spot to add your/our ideas about what should be done in Washington!", and you are correct.  

What I would have said if they really cared was, "We simply want you to do the job you were elected to do, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States for all enemies, foreign and domestic (including the nut case politicians that somehow get elected to public office), and stop pandering for votes!"

But alas, they really don't want to know what we think, what they really want is our name and email address for their mailing list to raise money.  I say we let the idiots in Washington survive on their own, cut off the money supply to them, and they will disappear.  My view is they are all in it for the fame and fortune and use our money to create their fame and their fortunes.

So how do you think this is going to work out.  The same guy who; had his butt kicked by Putin in Syria, who was a disgrace to America in Vietnam, and the man who called our soldiers criminal from the Senate Chamber is now the best we got to try to contain the Russians?  WAFJ!

President Obama is threatening to veto a law that would allowCongress to sue him in federal courts for arbitrarily changing or refusing to enforce federal laws because it "violates the separation of powers" by encroaching on his presidential authority.

"[T]he power the bill purports to assign to Congress to sue the President over whether he has properly discharged his constitutional obligation to take care that the laws be faithfully executed exceeds constitutional limitations," theWhite House Office of Management and Budget said Wednesday in a statement of administration policy. "Congress may not assign such power to itself, nor may it assign to the courts the task of resolving such generalized political disputes."

The lead sponsor of the measure, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said it was designed to curb Obama's abuse of presidential authority, most notably in his frequent changes to Obamacare.

There is no doubt that this administration violates the constitution regularly with executive orders, refusing to enforce laws they disagree with, using federal agencies against their political foes, and on and on.  So the equally incompetent Republicans have now come up with a plan to stop him.  I was thrilled thinking, finally the Republicans are going to do their duty and begin impeachment proceedings against him.  Well demonstrating that the Republicans are equally corrupt you will find after reading this article, that the Republican plan involves  filing suit to sue the President, not impeach him.  I would laugh at this if it were not so incredibly asinine and insane.  The one thing America does not need is another law, particularly one that is designed to line the pockets of trail lawyers and when the Constitution already addressed this.

This, my friends, is what you get when you elect lawyers to lead the nation.  You get a gaggle of fools playing games with our money with no serious intention of doing anything other than padding their own pockets and stealing from the American taxpayer.

But I could be wrong . . .but let's just vote them all out and replace them with common sense working Americans who are not afraid to take a stand and represent the good of the Country, rather than their personal interest.  But then why would any honest hard working American want to enter a life of "organized crime"?
